Anna mays has over 50 years of experience in education, including 34 years as an administrator in higher education institutions. She has broad leadership experience in student services, academic affairs, dual credit and professional development, particularly in community colleges, most recently as Vice Provost of Educational Partnerships reporting to me. Under her leadership at the district level, Dallas College expanded dual credit enrollment by 133% (from 12,643 in 2015-16 to 29,414 in 2021-22), representing 33% of credit enrollment, with the majority from Title I high schools and low-income families and 87% students of color and over 40% enrolled in 29 Early College High Schools and 41 Pathways in Technology (P-TECHs). She was previously Associate Vice Chancellor for Educational Policy for five years, working with Presidents and Vice Presidents of student services and instruction across seven campuses. Anna served previously as Executive Vice President of Student Services and Instruction and Vice President of Student Services & Enrollment Management at Cedar Valley College for almost ten years, where she doubled enrollment and degree completion through her leadership of faculty, staff and administrators, the Enrollment Management Team and student success initiatives including Completion by Design, Texas Completes and various grants. Anna also served as Director and Systems Manager of Student Success Services at Sinclair Community College.
