Gloria Salinas currently serves as the Vice President of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation where she leads the business attraction, retention and expansion, innovation, and research teams in strategic corporate recruitment initiatives to attract headquarters, corporate offices and emerging tech industries to Frisco, the fastest growing city in the nation. A key focus area for Gloria and the team includes fostering technology and innovation ecosystems as the City of Frisco continues to develop as a smart city lab. Gloria has a decade of experience crafting and executing economic development policy and strategy, public/private partnerships, business recruitment and incentives, redevelopment strategy, research and analysis, and strategic messaging, and brand positioning. A Dallas native, Gloria holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in strategy and entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox School of Business in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with double minors in American politics, law and administration and Spanish from SMU.
